FLAN WITH HORCHATA OF TIGERNUT FROM VALENCIA WITH BLUEBERRIES

Ingredients


  •  ½ liter of Horchata of Chufa from Valencia
  •   Blueberries
  •   4 eggs
  •   2 tablespoons sugar (optional)

 

 For the caramel:

  •   3 tablespoons of sugar
  •   Juice of half lemon

Preparation

Caramel 

  • Put in a pan the sugar, lemon juice and a little water. Heat. Put a little in a flan pan.

 

Flan

  • Beat the eggs with the horchata and the 2 tablespoons of sugar (optional). 
  • Put the blueberries in the flan pan and then the whipped horchata with eggs.
  • Put in a water bath at a low temperautre until it sets (about 40 minutes).
  • Serve when it is cool.
