The Horchata of Tigernut from Valencia will gallop in the Spanish Grand Prix CSI 5 *

Visitors can enjoy the drink in Horchata trucks that are distributed by the City of Arts and Sciences. The D.O. Tigernut from Valencia, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, distributed hundreds of samplings from 400 small guests to enjoy their first ride on horseback

May 7, 2009 .- Everything is ready for tomorrow's starting from the Spanish Grand Prix CSI 5 *, test scoring in the international racing circuit in the world, the Global Champions Tour 2009. To celebrate this event, the Regulatory Council of the DO Tigernut from Valencia has ordered a total of seven horchata trucks in which they can enjoy the authentic taste of Horchata from Valencia Tigernut. In fact, D.O. estimated that over the last three days that the competitions will consume approximately 2000 liters of horchata.

This means that over twelve thousand people will taste the Horchata  of Tigernut from Valencia  in the HorseGarden, situated in the old Turia riverbed, and the surrounding areas where the tests will take place this Grand Prix of Spain, located against the Prince Felipe Museum of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia (ACC).

Until next Sunday May 10, near the Palace Prince Felipe will become the epicenter of the equestrian world, where participants will meet as the top 30 riders and Amazon's international ranking, with 160 horses of racing. It is expected that figures from different fields come to the Grand Prix of Spain, consisting of five tests per day.

Horchata for young riders

These days, the Garden of the Turia is transformed into an impromptu "Horse Garden" which will house the pit area for horses in competition, as well as an entertainment area for all visitors to enjoy this important event, through of the "Pony Park", dedicated to the smallest, and an area of promotion, which will provide information on the world of horses. And here is where the D.O. Tigernut from Valencia overturn their efforts, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, to distribute hundreds of free tastings among the nearly 400 children who made his first ride on horseback during the day.
